Located in the heart of Kelowna’s Brewery District, Born To Shake is more than a cocktail bar, it’s an immersive experience that celebrates craftsmanship, community, and the art of the cocktail. Our design vision was to translate that spirit into a space that feels both energetic and refined, where every detail invites guests to linger, learn, and enjoy.

We embraced the duality of the concept, a vibrant cocktail lounge and a hands-on retail environment by blending textures, industrial elements, and playful accents. Natural tones and metals ground the space, while rich tones and dynamic lighting create a sense of movement and mood that evolves from day to night.

The open bar becomes the heart of the experience, a stage for creativity and connection surrounded by tactile design choices that reflect Born To Shake’s handcrafted ethos. Every surface, fixture, and material was selected to echo their commitment to quality and authenticity, from the custom shelving showcasing their house-made syrups and bitters to the cozy, communal seating that encourages conversation over cocktails.
