Located in Penticton, BC, this veterinary clinic was designed with a focus on patient comfort and well-being, incorporating “Fear Free” design principles to minimize stress and anxiety in animals. The project included essential spaces such as exam rooms, a comfort room, a pharmacy, a lab, treatment areas, dental and surgery rooms, all thoughtfully crafted for both functionality and patient experience.

To create a calming environment, the design incorporated lighter, muted colour tones throughout the clinic. Exam rooms were strategically placed along windows to provide natural light, promoting a sense of calm for both pets and their owners. Dimmable lighting was also included to allow for adjustments based on the specific needs of the animals and procedures. Noise control was a priority, with sound-dampening materials implemented to reduce disturbances, further contributing to the low-stress environment.

This approach resulted in a highly functional and welcoming clinic that prioritizes the comfort and well-being of its patients, making visits less stressful for animals and their owners alike.
